The Fulton Lions Club installed Melissa Champion as their new president and its slate of officers for 2024-25 at its recent June meeting. The ceremony was performed by Past District 20-Y Governor Paul Forestiere. Immediate Past President David Guyer passes the gavel to Champion, above. Joining them from left: Past President David Dingman, who will serve as club vice president, and Forestiere.
FULTON, NY – The Fulton Lions Club installed Melissa Champion as their new president and its slate of officers for 2024-25 at its recent June meeting. The ceremony was performed by Past District 20-Y Governor Paul Forestiere.
Other officers installed included Past President David Dingman, vice president; Savahna Lisi, secretary; Susan Daratt, treasurer; Ron Browning, assistant treasurer; David Guyer, immediate past president/Lions Clubs International Foundation coordinator; Renee Doney, membership chair; Steve Chirello, marketing and program chair; Becky Devendorf, service chair; Dennis Rupert, tail twister; Brett Tallents, assistant tail twister; Erin Sachel, lion tamer. Board of directors’ appointment for one year was David Wolford, and board of director appointments for two years were Linda Hughes and Pat Devendorf.
“Chartered in 1953, our club continues to be one of the most active in our district,” Champion said. “Our ongoing success is linked with the all-out effort to serve that comes from each and every one of our members. We look forward to our upcoming Charby’s Duck Derby on September 7, to kick-off our next year of service to the greater Fulton community.”
