FULTON, NY – The Fulton Lions Club installed its new slate of officers for 2019-20, presented club awards for the 2018-19-club year, and recognized two members for milestone service anniversaries at its June 20 meeting.
Past President Paul Foster was recognized for his 45 years of service to the club and Past President David Guyer was recognized for his 20 years of service.

Foster served as club president twice, and as vice district governor.
Guyer was also club president two times.
Guyer succeeds Zachary Merry as president.
This is Guyer’s third time as club president.
Other officers installed included: Robert Weston, vice president; Michelle Stanard, secretary; and Michael Reardon, treasurer.
Lion Douglas G. Russell of Liverpool, past district governor, zone 20-Y1, presided over the installation.
Other positions installed at that meeting include: Susan Daratt, assistant treasurer; Linda Hughes, assistant treasurer, Fred Aldrich, membership chair; Geoff Sawyer, lion tamer; Mark Pollock, assistant lion tamer; Dennis Rupert, tail twister; Brett Tallents, assistant tail twister; and Zachary Merry, immediate past president.
Steve Chirello and David Dingman were elected as board members for one year.

Gail Holmes and Ron Browning were elected to the board of directors for two years.
“Chartered in 1953, our club continues to be one of the most active in our district,” Guyer said. “We look forward to our upcoming Charby’s Duck Derby (September 8), to kick off our next year of service to the greater Fulton community.”
The Fulton Lions Club provides financial assistance for those in need of eyeglasses, eye exams, and hearing aids to residents in the greater Fulton area.
