Fulton Memorial Day Salute Committee Making Plans

FULTON – Preparations for the 37th annual Memorial Day Salute event have begun.

This year, the event will be held at the Fulton Community Center at Recreation Park on May 26.

The theme for the parade and celebration will be “150 Years Celebrating Memorial Day Salute” and will honor Veteran of the Year, Bob LaRock.

Excellent food and entertainment will follow the parade and an impressive fireworks display will end the night.

Representatives from each of Fulton’s service clubs: Lions, Kiwanis, Noon Rotary and Sunrise Rotary, along with the Veterans Council, are working together under committee chairman Doug Stevens to make this important day of remembrance a community event everyone can enjoy.
