At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, SUNY Oswego student Robert Madonia presented a program about a trip to Africa and climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.

A group of 23 SUNY Oswego students along with two teachers shared this two-week adventure with twelve days on the mountain accompanied by seventy-five native porters.
During the climb they experienced four different climate changes and a huge range of temperatures.
The group spent about fifteen minutes on top the very cold summit.
The Fulton Sunrise Rotary meets every Friday at 7 a.m. at Fulton’s Riverside Inn.
