FULTON – Fulton Community School Summer School will be offered from 9 a.m. to noon July 9 to Aug. 3 at the Fulton Junior High School.
The theme this year is “Sweet History, Rich Future,” focusing on the history of chocolate locally and around the world.
English language arts, social studies, science and math will be at the center of each chocolatey lesson.
Students currently in grades seven and eight will participate based on their academic needs.
Students currently entering grade seven have also been invited to participate to help make a smooth transition to the junior high.
Also offered will be weekly field trips or guest speakers.
Additionally, students will be introduced to the character traits of the Positivity Project, which will be implemented at the junior high and high school next school year.
Breakfast, lunch and transportation are provided.
