Come join us for a night of reading at the Fulton YMCA. AmeriCorps members Ashley Westerbeck and Nicole Reitz will be hosting a night of literacy awareness in Fulton. Middle and high school aged teens will spend the night reading with elementary children. Kids will go home with a new or gently used paperback book. The event will be held from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 7, 2009. Come to the YMCA in your pajamas for a night of reading and fun! Space is limited so pre-registration is recommended. To pre-register call the Fulton YMCA at (315) 598-9622. The event is being organized by ACT for Youth (Assets Coming Together) and headed by local AmeriCorps members.
