Fundraiser Set To Benefit Great Bear

PHOENIX – Come and help Save Whiskey Island and Northern Great Bear Wednesday evening (May 31).
A fundraiser will be held at Duskees Sports Bar in Phoenix, 8 Bridge St., 6 to 11 p.m. A local local bike group, WNR, has organized this event.
There will be live music, wings and other food available.
A 50/50 raffle, drawings for a variety of very neat gifts and a silent auction for some select items will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Some items include a classic Hunter paddle fan, espresso and cappuccino coffee maker, stained glass wall hanging, artwork and other items.
The premier raffle is for a $3,800 Cannondale Habit Carbon 3, donated by Syracuse Bicycle.
This a top end mountain bike.
Raffle tickets for the bike will be sold at the event and continue until approximately the middle of June.
The date and time for the drawing will be announced later.
Raffle tickets will also be available at Syracuse Bicycle and from Friends of Great Bear.
