The G. Ray Bodley Concert Choir put on a stellar performance in honor of Music In Our Schools Month.

The first Music In Our Schools celebration started as a single day in 1973, and it was sponsored by the New York State Music Association.
Today, the celebration includes the entire month of March and is observed by the National Association for Music Education (www.nafme.org).
The GRB Women’s Choir displayed its talent with songs like “Let it Go” from the popular film “Frozen” with soloists Madison Wilson and Destiny Rose.

Director Thomas Nami lead the GRB Concert Choir in the traditional “Amazing Grace” with oboe soloist Jake Seymour and “In My Life” by the Beatles with soloists Mykenzie Finch, Brandon Webb, Justina Race and Emilio Garcia.
Upcoming G. Ray Bodley Auditorium events include Bodley’s Got Talent (March 18 at 6:30 p.m.), the GRB Orchestra Concert (March 19 at 7:30 p.m.) and the GRB Band Concert with Maniacal Four Trombone Quartet (March 25 at 7:30 p.m.).
