Granby Second Graders Deliver ‘Spell’-Binding Performance

Students in Kate Waite’s second grade class at Granby Elementary School recently showcased their spelling prowess during a friendly competition.

The Long /i/ Spelling Bee provided a platform for the students to display their knowledge of challenging words.

Madysen Hanson-Dean took home top honors as the first-place Queen Bee.

Her classmates Layla Coppedge, Freddie Colon and Jada Diaz were crowned runners-up.
