Students in teacher Joshua Osborne’s class at Granby Elementary recently studied a unit on animal responses.

Students observed live lobsters and crayfish and made predictions on which was the fastest, based on their size and health.
The crustaceans were placed in a circle on the floor, and students guessed how long it would take for them to cross the different radius.
The students also learned how animals respond to a change in the environment.
