OSWEGO – Advanced SUNY Oswego students in both graphic arts and fiction writing classes have joined forces to produce “Graphic Flash 3,” an exhibition opening with a free public reception from 2 to 4 p.m. April 26, at Oswego State downtown, corner of West First and Bridge streets in Oswego.

Students from art faculty member Amy Bartell’s advanced graphics class have illustrated the flash fiction of writers from English and creative writing faculty member Leigh Wilson’s advanced fiction writing course, with the resulting collaboration ranging from micro-stories to illustrations to three-minute films.
The show will run through May at Oswego State Downtown, a branch of SUNY Oswego’s College Store.
Hours are noon to 5 p.m. Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays.
In a separate public event, “Graphic Flash 3” readings, films and projections will take place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. April 28, in the Campus Center auditorium.
