Spirits will be lifted at Golisano Children’s Hospital over Christmas due to the generosity of G. Ray Bodley students, who collected presents for the patients.

The idea, Kids Helping Kids, was inspired by ninth grade student Daniel Hotaling.
Guidance Counselor Laura Hyde assisted Hotaling and other student volunteers to collect items requested by the children’s hospital.
Paper bags with a wish list attached were put in 70 of the school’s guided study halls.
The bath and body sets, Barbies, art supplies, Play-Doh and more were delivered to the hospital, along with Christmas cards made by students at Mexico Middle School.
Hotaling delivered the items with his mother, Hyde, and her children.
