HANNIBAL – The Hannibal Senior High Band and Guitar Class shared the spirit of the season Dec. 15 in the high school auditorium during their holiday concert.

Instrumental holiday tunes representative of various cultures filled both performances.
The Guitar Class’ inaugural public performance featured first- and second-year guitar students who played Christmas and spiritual classics, such as “Angels We Have Heard on High” and “Go tell it on The Mountain.”
Following much applause, director Shirley Terrinoni turned the night over to the Senior High Band, which under her accompaniment, took audience members on a musical and cultural journey as they played Hanukkah, Kwanza and other holiday songs.

Attendees were invited to a brownie reception in the cafeteria at the conclusion of the concert.
