Halloween music rang throughout the Kenney Middle School cafetorium on Wednesday night as ghosts, goblins, superheroes, animals and creatures of the night delivered a ‘spooktacular’ performance.

Seventh- and eighth-graders took the stage for the annual Halloween costume concert, which saw students dressed as everything from princesses to gorillas.
“This is always one of the most fun concerts of the year,” band director Robert Sherwood said as he looked out over his cast of characters.
The band played “Chase Through the Midnight Forest,” “Raiders March,” “A Very Respectable Hobbit,” “Spider Pig,” and “Zombies Knocking on your Door.”
To top off the musical entertainment, the students were also judged in a costume contest, with Autumn Lanning (as Batgirl) taking home top honors.
