Oswego County Head Start Pre-K continues to accept applications for September. The program enrolls three- and four-year-old children and has locations throughout Oswego County. Head Start’s goal is promoting school readiness through hands-on learning experiences, active play, and nutritious meals and snacks.
Parents have a central role in the program as partners in the educational process. There are opportunities to be involved in parent committees, volunteer in the classrooms, as part of program development, and attending workshops.
Head Start Pre-K is a program of OCO, Inc. in Oswego County. It is provided at no cost to families. Applications are accepted year round with waiting lists maintained for openings that may occur. Families who would like more information or would like to complete an application may call 598-4711.
