Head Start Pre-K Continues Registration for September 2013

Head Start Pre-K is preparing for the upcoming September 2013 classes.

Students from Head Start Pre-K’s Pulaski Center show the new books and stuffed owls they recently received through a donation from the Kohl’s Cares program. Head Start is accepting enrollment applications for September 2013.

The program enrolls 3- and 4-year-olds and is provided at no cost to families.

Head Start’s goal is promoting kindergarten readiness through a variety of learning materials and developmentally appropriate opportunities that assist children in developing academically, socially, and emotionally.

With centers located throughout Oswego County, Head Start enrolls children from all 9 school districts.

Families may call the program’s main number, 598-4711, for more information or to schedule an application for enrollment.

Waiting lists are maintained throughout the school year.
