PULASKI – The Pulaski Historical Society will dedicate the Children’s Room in the museum to Eleanor “Ellie” Spicer on Oct. 17 at 1 p.m.
Spicer was the volunteer coordinator for eight years, responsible for finding volunteers to be museum guides, opening and closing the museum and was a guide as well.
She passed away on Sunday July 5 of this year.
Also, October is Archives Month.
On Oct. 24, the historical society will host an open house at the museum from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to showcase some of the interesting archival materials in its collection, including scrapbooks, diaries and old photographs.
Enjoy a taste of fall with cider and donuts being served.
The Pulaski Historical Society is located at 3428 Maple Ave., across from Mavis Tire/Cole Muffler in the village.
The museum is open for free tours in October and November from from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
Volunteers are available to help with research and questions at the regular work sessions on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to noon.
