Huge Turnout for Volney Elementary Open House

VOLNEY – There wasn’t a single parking space left at the Volney Elementary School open house, where students had the opportunity to give their families a tour of the building and introduce them to their teacher.
Many students proudly directed their parents to their classroom and desk as well as pointed out their artwork displayed in the hallways.
The kindergarteners of the school put on a show of nursery rhymes they have learned in school so far in the school’s cafeteria.
Music teachers led the group in songs like “Wheels on the Bus” and “Twinkle, Twinkle.”
