FULTON – Carrie Kangah and Jennifer Bouchard discussed the AYA Project at a recent Fulton Rotary meeting.

It is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the health and education of rural communities in The Ivory Coast.
The two are among the founders, and noted the organization meets its mission through short-term mission trips and programs that work with local agencies in the Ivory Coast empowering communities to sustain and improve the health and education of their people.
Kangah became involved when she visited her husband’s hometown of Africa and realized the needs of local townspeople.
The organization can be found at www.aya.org.
The Fulton Rotary Club meets at noon Thursdays at Tavern on the Lock and guests are always welcome.
