OSWEGO, NY – “It’s Alive†was on tour again and the latest stop was at the Frederick Leighton Elementary School.

Tom Altman and Dan Oostdyk brought living, breathing animals to provide a hands-on learning situation for kindergarten students.
Youngsters witnessed the differences between turtles and tortoises as well as comparing snakes and lizards.
Kindergarten student Emma Midkiff-Humm gets eye to eye with the tortoise.
Altman has been doing this program, along with many others, for years and Oostdyk has joined him as the local gentleman has numerous animals of his own and enjoys sharing them with others.
