January Golden Gator Winners Announced

GRANBY, NY – Granby Elementary hosted a school-wide celebration on Jan. 27 to celebrate students’ many accomplishments during the second quarter.

The day began with a school-wide assembly to acknowledge classrooms for working together to meet expectations.

Classrooms demonstrating respectful, responsible and safe behavior throughout the building were rewarded with Granby Gator Golden Awards.

Students representing their classes: Back Row: Rebekah Lubinga, Jessie Sharkey, Karina Whitten, Jasmine Malave, Gillian Brown, Kali Spaulding, and Miss Perry. Middle Row – Grace Porter, Jeremy Robbins, DeN’ayah Orr, David Powes, Tyler Abraham. Front Row- Kiera House, Elizabeth Chrisman, Payton Wells, Sutter Lewin.

Students meeting expectations chose from a variety of activities to celebrate their success.

This celebration is part of their Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports (PBIS) program.
