OSWEGO — The Oswego Bookmobile gives thanks to the John Ben Snow Foundation for their generous $10,000 grant award through 2026. With $5,000 awarded for 2025, $5,000 awarded for 2026, this grant helps fuel bookmobile access across communities.
“The John Ben Snow Foundation has been honored to partner with the Oswego Bookmobile since 2014 in bringing quality books and STEM activities during the summer to children and teens in the Oswego area. The fact that there are educators to assist children in obtaining the right book for their level helps children prevent summer slide in their reading ability. It is such a joy to see kids excited to select their next book!” Elizabeth Snow, Program Officer at the John Ben Snow Foundation.
“Throughout the years, the John Ben Snow Foundation has played a crucial role in making sure as many books land in the hands of children as possible. The continued support of the John Ben Snow Foundation helps bring books to families, enriching education and literacy access outside of the classroom. Their ongoing generosity helps children find joy in reading and literacy.” Susan McBrearty, president of the Oswego Bookmobile Board of Directors.
