Kristin A. Shanley Earns Honor

ROCHESTER – The Honorable Michael F. Dillon Attorneys for Children Award was presented to local attorney Kristin A. Shanley, Esq. by Presiding Justice Gerald J. Whalen on June 19.

Shanley was designated to receive the award by the Departmental Advisory Committee to the Attorneys for Children Program, which annually selects two attorneys for children from each of the Fifth, Seventh and Eighth districts to receive this honor.

The award signifies vigorous advocacy on behalf of children.

The award is named for the late Presiding Justice Michael F. Dillon, who spearheaded the development of the highest quality of representation for children in the Fourth Department and who initiated mandatory training for attorneys for children in New York State.
