Laker Hockey Players Supply Icing On The Skate

OSWEGO, NY – Sophomore Alli Ulrich of the Oswego State women’s hockey team accompanies Amanda Connelly (left) and Alaina DiBlasi at Holiday Skate with the Lakers on Dec. 7 at the Marano Campus Center arena.
Proceeds from a modest fee, chances to win Laker hockey jerseys donated by the college’s Auxiliary Services and extra donations benefited the State Employees Federated Appeal/United Way charitable campaign.
Skaters from the greater Oswego community joined members of the men’s and women’s hockey teams for two sessions of Holiday Skate with the Lakers.
Even Santa attended and the event raised $520, according to Diane Dillon, coach of the women’s team, off to a 7-2 start in 2014-15.
The men’s team, sixth-ranked nationally, is 7-1-2.
