Lakeside Artisans Continue Thursday Programs

OSWEGO, NY – Lakeside Artisans, 191 W. First St., continues its tradition of hosting a variety of creative visual artists to demonstrate their materials, techniques, and processes on Thursday evenings during the farmers’ market.

On August 7, Michele Southgate will demonstrate her use of fibrous and textured papers in her mixed media artwork.

Cindy Schmidt will talk about her Cranky Cat Collection and demonstrate how she creates her lovable feline critters on August 14.

Playing with watercolor painting with Carol Burghart will take place on August 21.

And on August 28, Carl Patrick will return with his woodcarving tools and techniques demonstrating how he creates his intricate Celtic knots.

Lakeside Artisans is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday to 8 p.m. during the market and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
