Lakeside Artisans Offering Art Classes

OSWEGO, NY – Lakeside Artisans, 191 W. First St., is offering two creative arts classes for the month of October.

On October 22 from 2-5 p.m., Carol Burghart will teach Watercolor Painting.

This class is for beginners as well as those who have some experience with the Watercolor medium.

On October 24 from 6-9 p.m., Wendy Ballard will teach an introductory class in creating Chainmaille Earrings.

Chainmaille was originally used to make armor in the Middle Ages.  It is now used to make jewelry by connecting metal rings to one another creating a repetitive pattern.

Different patterns may be created depending upon how the rings are joined. Metal rings of different colors may also be used as part of the pattern.

All classes require a non-refundable $10 deposit to register.
