Learning is an exciting adventure, just ask kindergarten students at Lanigan Elementary School.

Since September the school’s three kindergarten classes have been busy exploring the 26 letters of the alphabet.
Students have been learning about the sounds that letters make, the magic of vowels, and how partnering letters together creates new sounds.
More importantly, according to kindergarten teacher Dianne Sestak, “Our students are learning how letters create words and how words create wonderful stories.”

To celebrate the students’ hard work in the classroom and showcase some of what they have learned over the past several months the kindergarten classes hosted an Alphabet Adventures Concert at their school. An audience consisting of the students’ family members, Fulton City School District Board of Education members, district staff and administration enjoyed an ABC parade and some of the students’ favorite songs about the letters of the alphabet.
