Large Turnout For 10th Grade Orientation

MEXICO – Sophomores from throughout Oswego County recently toured the Center for Instruction, Technology and Innovation during the annual Career and Technical Education 10th grade orientation.

CiTi’s CTE programs recently held its 10th grade orientation, hosting hundreds of students from throughout the county. Pictured, sophomore Madison Wilson, from FCSD, is all smiles as she helps prepare bread in Culinary Arts.

After a brief introduction and overview of the campus, the 10th graders were afforded the opportunity to explore two programs of their choosing for a more in-depth look.

While visiting a particular class, students were given the chance to learn about curriculum, potential career possibilities and credential opportunities.

Each CTE program also provided a brief hands-on demonstration to show students what a daily class period would consist of so students could better determine if it the class was right for them.
