Legislators Present Commendation To Hayes

OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego County Legislature recognized champion wrestler Austyn Hayes with a certificate at their April meeting.
Hayes traveled to the New York State Wrestling Championships in Albany last February where he placed 3rd in the 195-pound weight class.
Coached by Gene Mills, the Phoenix senior has qualified for the NYS Division II Championship three times in his career; bringing home 4th, 6th, and 3rd place titles.
Hayes holds an impressive record of 211 wins with 110 pins.
