OSWEGO – The Oswego County Legislature celebrated the county’s bicentennial at its March meeting with a host of public officials, proclamations and a reception featuring cake made by Bob Bateman of Cakes Galore and milk provided by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County.
Legislature Chairman Kevin Gardner (right), District 13, opened the reception by cutting the cake with Barbara Dix, historian for the town of Schroeppel and village of Phoenix; and Oswego County Bicentennial Committee Chairman and Legislator Shawn Doyle, District 3, also historian for the town of Richland.
