Members of the Oswego County Legislature will host a picnic for Oswego County government workers from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Fulton Recreation Park on Sunday, Sept. 14.
All Oswego County employees and their families are invited to attend. A variety of food, games and other activities are planned.
“This is truly meant to say ‘thank you’ to our county workers,” said County Legislator Louella LeClair, District 25, Fulton, who is chairing the event. She emphasizes that the event will take place at no cost to county taxpayers.
Legislator LeClair said several businesses and organizations have made donations including Eagle Beverage, Paul’s Big M, Shapiro Paper, Ontario Orchards, and Air Hop. The staff of the County Sheriff’s Office will conduct the children’s fingerprinting project, and members of the County Legislature have volunteered to cook and made donations.
County workers may register by contacting Clerk of the Legislature Ted Jerrett at [email protected].
