Leighton Elementary School Recognizes Students

OSWEGO – Prior to the end of Leighton Elementary’s school year, several sixth grade students were recognized for their scholastic performance and achievements.
The awards including the following:
President’s Education Awards Program – Outstanding Academic Excellence (Gold) were: Madison Casper, Ava Cloonan, Gretchen Dowd, and Ella Shambo
President’s Education Awards Program – Outstanding Academic Achievement (Silver) were: John Paul Alejandro and Megan Cheeley
Ava Cloonan receives an award from Leighton School Principal Larry Schmiegel at the school’s sixth grade awards ceremony held recently.
Triple C Award (Character, Courage and Commitment) – Ava Cloonan and Gretchen Dowd
Star Award – Gretchen Dowd and Ava Cloonan
Laura Godfrey Award – Mary Kate Cloonan
4 the Love of Reading Award – Quinten Denkenberger and Addyson St. Onge
Triathlon Award – Ryan Bartlett, Lauren Garafolo, Ava Cloonan
