OSWEGO, NY – The Leighton Elementary School recently held its annual Read-A-Thon.

Participating students set a goal of at least 240 minutes of reading over a 10-day period.
Students tracked their reading from in and out of school.
The students that read for the most minutes in Pre-K through second grade and third to sixth grade were named the school’s “Principals of the Day.”
There were 57 participants who combined to read a total of 23,649 minutes.
