OSWEGO, NY – Frederick Leighton Elementary School Student Council members recently held their annual holiday food drive.

Students collected a variety of foods to be distributed to Leighton School families in time for the holidays.
This year, students added a new twist for some fun, and collected new and gently used books that would also be given to families.
According to Leighton School Student Council Advisor Jennifer Symborski, the council members were very grateful to everyone who donated food or a book, and wanted to extend a special thank you to Paul’s Big M in Oswego, for donating 65 prepared bags of food to the school.
