Leighton Spellers Advance to Regional

OSWEGO, NY – The students at the Frederick Leighton Elementary School competed for the opportunity to earn a position in this year’s Scripps National Spelling Bee regional.
The top three finishers are advancing to the regional competition.
They are John Alejandro, Ava Cloonan and Scotty Schladebeck.
They are congratulated by Principal Julie Burger, Mary DellaPenna, Amy Armet, Deb McHugh, Emily Monette and Jennifer Symborski.
