OSWEGO, NY – Several Frederick Leighton Elementary School sixth graders had an idea to conduct a “Hearts for Haiti” project to raise funds to donate to earthquake relief.

They raised more than $250 as hearts were placed in the main entrance foyer.

Joining together were teacher Margaret Talamo and students Kristie Reitz, Delaney Roddy, Hannah Kielb, Olivia Peel, Megan Glary and Brianna Fernandez.
