Library Schedules Reading Events

OSWEGO – Summer reading events start July 5 at Oswego Library.

The schedule is as follows:

7/5 Mad Scientists – Colorful Chemistry at 10:30 a.m.  First grade and up.

7/5 Hopscotch/Jump Rope day from 1-3 p.m.  Hopscotch through an international hopscotch course.  Make your own jump rope.

7/6 Peter Robson-Scuba Diving at 10:30 a.m.

7/7 Simon Says Day.  Create an art project with Simon at 10:30 a.m.  Exercise with Simon at 1 p.m.

7/8 Move-it Story Hour at 10:30 a.m.

7/9 Art with Jen – Sign up required – at 1 p.m.

7/11 Gravitational Bull’s Comedy Juggling Show at 1:30 p.m.

7/12 Mad Scientists – Gas and Mass at 10:30 a.m. First grade and up.

7/12 Basketball Wastepaper Basket Craft – Sign up required – at 1 p.m.  Ages 9 and up.

7/13 Dance Day.  Story Hour at 10:30 a.m.  Studio C Dance Studio at 1 p.m.  Dance Crafts from 2-4 p.m.

7/14 Silk Scarf Painting Craft – Sign up required – at 2 p.m. in the Community Room at the bottom of the library.  Ages 9 and up.

7/15 Leo Pryor’s Taekwondo at 10:30 a.m.

7/16 Challenge Saturday.

7/18 Ninja Day.  Story Hour at 10:30 a.m.  Ninja Crafts from 1-3 p.m.

7/19 Mad Scientists – Glorious Goo at 10:30 a.m. First grade and up.

7/19 Susan Mayer-Zumba at 4 p.m.

7/20 Adam Spizman – Personal Training at 10:30 a.m.

7/21 Soup Day.  Story Hour at 10:30 a.m.  Soup Tasting at noon.  Soup Crafts from 2-4 p.m.

7/22 Food Art Day from 1-3 p.m. Create art projects using food.

7/23 Challenge Saturday.

7/25 Yummy Story Hour at 10:30 a.m.

7/26 Mad Scientists – Food Chemistry at 10:30 a.m. First grade and up.

7/26 Heather Plyler-Hula Hoop Craft – Sign up required – Three sessions starting at 10:30 a.m.  Grades K – sixth.

7/27 Pop Corn Day.  Story Hour at 10:30 a.m.  Popcorn and popcorn events from 1-3 p.m.

7/28 Peggy Pelc – Special Olympics at 10:30 a.m.
