Local Mental Health Counseling Practice to Offer Free Depression Screenings

Oswego, NY – Integrative Counseling Services, PLLC, under the direction of Dr. Jodi A Mullen, PhD, will be participating in National Depression Screening Day by offering free depression screenings. The screenings will take place on October 20, 2010 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at their Oswego office. The address of the facility is 5 West Cayuga Street, Oswego, NY 13126. The phone number is (315) 342-9255. Screenings will be done either on a walk in basis or by calling Integrative Counseling Services in advance for an appointment.

“We are happy to be able to participate in this event and provide this service to the community. Depression is common and treatable,” explained Dr. Mullen. “Many people recognize something is not quite right, but do not have a name for it. A depression screen is often the first component to getting appropriate treatment.”
