Local Producers Will Host Maple Weekends March 19-20, April 2-3

Oswego County – Maple fanatics can get their fill of fresh syrup and other delicious maple products at several local farms during New York State Maple Weekends March 19 and 20, and April 2 and 3.

Producers will host tours, demonstrate the latest technology, and show how sap is collected from maple trees, boiled, and transformed into delicious maple syrup.

Several Oswego County producers will host open houses:

–         Maple Hill Farm, 86 Guernsey Road, Hannibal; 315-593-2396. Tours of sugar house and woods, demonstrations, maple products.

–         Maple Hollow Farms, 1309 county Route 85, Hannibal; 315-564-7133. Tours, Maple Queen and Princess, demonstrations, farm animals, maple products.
