Local Students Graduate From RIT

ROCHESTER, NY – Rochester Institute of Technology conferred some 4,000 degrees at all of its campuses in the 2019-2020 academic year. A virtual celebration was held May 8 at rit.edu/classof2020.
The following local residents received degrees:
- Vincent D’Arrigo of Martville (13111) received a BS in mechanical engineering and an ME in mechanical engineering.
- Shane Guernsey of Fulton (13069) received a BS in physics.
- Elizabeth Sidoti of Cato (13033) received a BS in international and global studies.
- Michael Dean Jr. of Central Square (13036) received a BFA in industrial design.
- Rachael Thormann of Williamstown (13493) received a BS in computational mathematics and an MS in computer science.
- Jesse Menkins of Phoenix (13135) received a BS in mechanical engineering technology.
- Trevor Wells of Pennellville (13132) received a BS in mechanical engineering technology.
- Tara Coughlin of West Monroe (13167) received a BS in diagnostic medical sonography.
- Clarissa Scharf of Pennellville (13132) received a BS in advertising and public relations.
- Ethan Taylor of Oswego (13126) received a BS in mechanical engineering technology.
- Elizabeth Crockford of Sterling (13156) received a BFA in photographic and imaging arts.
- Kelci Somers of Oswego (13126) received a BS in applied arts and sciences.
- Allayna Frank of Altmar (13302) received a BS in biomedical sciences.
- Craig Lawton of Oswego (13126) received a BS in environmental sustainability, health and safety.
- McKenzie Byrne of Cato (13033) received a BS in exercise science.
- Colin Clark of Oswego (13126) received a BS in chemical engineering.
- Alaina Celeste of Oswego (13126) received a BS/ME in mechanical engineering.
- Charlene Purchas of Parish (13131) received an AAS in design and imaging technology.
