Local Students Named Clarkson University Presidential Scholars

POTSDAM, NY – The following students have been named Presidential Scholars for the fall 2016 semester at Clarkson University:

Anthony J. Beers of Central Square, N.Y., a junior majoring in mechanical engineering.

Benjamin G. Harrell of Oswego, N.Y., a sophomore majoring in civil engineering.

Eric Charles Hillpot of Pennellville, N.Y., a junior majoring in biology.

Ricky John Howley of Central Square, N.Y., a freshman majoring in engineering studies.

Stanley Kubis of Central Square, N.Y., a sophomore majoring in chemical engineering.

Taylor B Montgomery of Oswego, N.Y., a junior majoring in global supply chain management.

Christopher Charles Nicolella of Fulton, N.Y., a sophomore majoring in aeronautical engineering & mechanical engineering.

Kyle Edward Robinson of Central Square, N.Y., a freshman majoring in mechanical engineering.

Mark Anthony Taormina of Oswego, N.Y., a sophomore majoring in chemistry.

Presidential Scholars must achieve a minimum 3.80 grade-point average and carry at least 14 credit hours.
