POTSDAM, NY — The following students have been named Presidential Scholars for the fall 2017 semester at Clarkson University:
Anthony Beers of Central Square, N.Y., a senior majoring in mechanical engineering.
Jenna Brockett of Parish, N.Y., a freshman majoring in chemical engineering.
Sarah Dahar of Oswego, N.Y., a freshman majoring in university studies.
Benjamin Harrell of Oswego, N.Y., a junior majoring in civil engineering.
Sean Heagerty of Mexico, N.Y., a freshman majoring in electrical engineering.
Eric Hillpot of Pennellville, N.Y., a senior majoring in biology.
Ricky Howley of Central Square, N.Y., a sophomore majoring in engineering and management.
Christopher Nicolella of Fulton, N.Y., a junior majoring in aeronautical engineering / mechanical engineering.
Randall Novak of Pulaski, N.Y., a senior majoring in civil engineering / environmental engineering.
Kyle Robinson of Central Square, N.Y., a sophomore majoring in mechanical engineering.
Carolanne Switzer of Fulton, N.Y., a freshman majoring in chemical engineering.
Mark Tompkins of Williamstown, N.Y., a sophomore majoring in civil engineering.
Jordan Tryon of Oswego, N.Y., a freshman majoring in mechanical engineering.
Presidential Scholars must achieve a minimum 3.80 grade-point average and carry at least 14 credit hours.
