HANNIBAL – The annual Louise Kellogg Concert in the Park will be held from 3-6 p.m. July 21 at the Firemen’s Field on Rochester Street in Hannibal.

Performers will include local groups Dam Dog 3 p.m., The Fulton Community Band 4 p.m., and the featured performers will be the Tenth Mountain Division Army Band from Fort Drum at 5 p.m.

This year’s free concert will again be dedicated to the memory of Mrs. Louise Kellogg.

She was instrumental in the organization of the previous 26 concerts in the park.

She recently passed away and it was decided last year that future concerts will be known as the Louise Kellogg Concert in the Park.

Sponsors for this year’s event will be the Hannibal Historical Society, the town of Hannibal, the village of Hannibal and the Hannibal American Legion.

The annual Duck Derby for the benefit of Hannibal Dollars for Scholars will take place at the Mill Street dam at 1 p.m. to start the afternoon in an exciting way.

Many prizes will be “ducked in.”

Food and beverages will be available at the concert which will take place rain or shine.

The audience is asked to bring lawn chairs.

Parking and admission will be free.

A new event this year will be a 5K “Duck run” starting at noon from the firemen’s field and ending at the Mill Street dam (site of the duck derby).

For information about the event please contact Alena Sanford at 315-783-6445.
Anyone with questions may call Joe Caruana at 315-591-3118.
