Magic Returns To Minetto August 8

MINETTO, NY – Magic in Minetto, in conjunction with Canal Splash, will be held on August 8 from 11a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Mnettto River View Park, County Route 48.

Magic is a fun, family event which features music, food, kids’ crafts, face painting and ice cream as well as a bouncy hut.

The Children’s Museum of Oswego will provide activities.

Artists will have their crafts for sale.

The  Minetto Fire Department has planned a rescue demonstration.

This year Minetto History Buffs’ stamp cancellation is of original Canal Lock 13 at Minetto.

A special highlight of Magic is the showing of Nick D’Innocenzo’s pictorial history of the Oswego Canal.

A canoe / kayak race and pace will accept entries from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on site.
