OSWEGO, NY – On May 31, the Jacksonville Faith Community in the town of Lysander held a Memorial day ceremony in the Lamson Grange.

The ceremony remembered the veterans in Jacksonville Cemetery.
The cemetery contains the remains of honored dead from all of America’s wars from the American Revolution until the losses in our recent combat.
The event was led by Rev. George A. Reed and members of Jacksonville Faith Community.
The program began with singing of the “Battle Hymn of the Republic,” a reading of “In Flanders Fields,” a prayer, “Almighty Father, Hear Our Prayers.”
The Masonic War Veterans led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.
State director Carl Hoyt discussed the Masonic War Veterans organization.
Rev Reed read Matthew 7:21-29 and offered a message on service.
The program was concluded with singing “God Bless America.”
