Starting February 1, 2011 a multiple county Master Gardener Training will be held. The Master Gardener program provides training to individuals, who, in turn, use their knowledge to educate others. In order to maintain Master Gardener status, there is a volunteer requirement through Cornell Cooperative Extension.
The training is being sponsored by Cornell Cooperative Extension in Oswego, Onondaga, Oneida and Cayuga Counties, with meetings in each county and some by videoconference. For a complete schedule please visit our website, www.thatscooperativeextension.org. Sessions will take place Tuesday evenings from 6-9 pm, with an occasional Saturday, until the beginning of June. Cost to participate in the training is $200.00 and includes the Master Gardener Manual.
If you are interested in participating in this training please contact Jonathan Schell at (315) 963-7286 or by email at [email protected]. Deadline for registration is the 28th of January.
