Mexico Middle School Names Super Citizens For Second Quarter

MEXICO – Mexico Academy and Central School District students in grades five through eight who have exhibited good work ethic and other outstanding qualities were recently named as Super Citizens for the second marking period.

The quarterly honor is awarded to Mexico Middle School students who meet the following criteria: take the initiative to do the right thing without having to be told, practice good work habits, consistency follow classroom and school rules, serve as a positive role model to others inside and outside of school and contribute to the well-being of the larger community through service.

For their efforts, each awardee received a certificate of recognition during a recent school ceremony.

Fifth grade honorees are: Wyatt Dann, Riley Gagnier, Mackenzie Harders, Cayden Roy, Preston Searor and Faith Sheldon.

Sixth grade super citizens are: Ashley Bennett, Emily Bennett, Ella Blunt, Everett Bryant, Wyatt Hancock, Sage LaFlamm, Ayden Lemons and Julianna Ricker.

Awardees in seventh grade are: Collin Hatch, Jesse Loomis, Colin O’Neil, Harmony Schroeder and Anna Trimble.

Eighth grade honorees are: Andrew Centrone, Abigail Hinman, Shane Kinter, Grace Mason and Abby Toland.
