Mexico Native Earns Promotion

Air Force Maj. Sean M. Walker has been selected for promotion to the rank of lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force.

Walker, a deputy team chief and mission commander with 21 years of military service, is assigned to the Defense Threat Reduction Agency at Fort Belvoir, Va.

He is the son of Paul R. and Carolyn A. Walker of Clark Road, Mexico, N.Y.

The major graduated in 1986 from Mexico High School, and received a master’s degree in 2006 from the American Military University, Manassas, Va.
