Michaud Residential Health Services To Host Free Bone Density Screening

FULTON – Michaud Residential Health Services in Fulton will host free bone density screenings at its residence located at 453 Park St. on June 28th from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

A bone density screening may help detect the onset of osteoporosis. Michaud Residential Health Services is hosting a bone density screening on June 28. “This is a great opportunity for folks to receive a valuable health screening free of charge,” said Michaud Nurse Dorothy Reitz, RN. “The bone density screening has become extremely popular and the information provided by this screening may help you to improve your health and quality of life; especially for those who may be experiencing the onset of osteoporosis.”

The free screening will take place off the main lobby at Michaud.

“The test is easy to do and takes only a few minutes,” noted Retz. “Nurses will be available to discuss the screening results with each screening recipient and answer any other health-related questions.”

The free bone density screening is part of a program conducted by nurses from Michaud and St. Luke Health Services at various locations through the year.
