FULTON – Residents from Michaud Residential Health Services in Fulton made a trip to the Great Northern Mall for some holiday shopping and were joined by students from Phoenix High School.

Together they set out to find that special holiday gift, or to just do some “window shopping.”
Students who took part in the shopping trip are part of the Phoenix High School Spirit Club.
“I think our residents and students alike enjoyed the activity and enjoyed each other’s company,” said Sue Parkinson, Director of Activities at Michaud, who accompanied the group. “No doubt our folks were a little surprised by some of the help they got from the more seasoned shoppers to be found among the students, but it was all fun, and a good experience.”
The holiday shopping trip to the Mall is one of many scheduled outing and activities Michaud residents are able to take advantage of throughout the year.
Entertainers, educational programs and partnerships with many area groups are all designed to keep residents active and engaged with their community.
